Official Sweepstakes Rules

Cassia Founding User Sweepstakes

Effective: February 5, 2026

1. Sponsor

This sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Studenthaus (“Sponsor”). The Sweepstakes is administered by Studenthaus.

2. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Canada who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. Employees of Studenthaus, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

Automatic Entry: The first one hundred (100) Studenthaus newsletter subscribers (news.studenthaus.com) to create a verified Cassia account using the designated newsletter signup link are automatically entered into this Sweepstakes. No additional action is required beyond completing account registration and email verification through the newsletter link.

3. Entry Period

The Sweepstakes begins on February 5, 2026 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time and ends when one hundred (100) eligible newsletter subscribers have created verified Cassia accounts via the newsletter link, or on December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time, whichever occurs first (“Entry Period”).

4. How to Enter

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

To enter, click the signup link in the Studenthaus newsletter (news.studenthaus.com) and create a free Cassia account during the Entry Period. You must:

  • Be a subscriber to the Studenthaus newsletter
  • Use the designated signup link from the newsletter
  • Provide a valid email address
  • Create a password meeting security requirements
  • Verify your email address by clicking the confirmation link
  • Be among the first 100 newsletter subscribers to complete these steps

Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple accounts created by the same person will be disqualified. Signups not originating from the newsletter link are not eligible.

5. Prize

Five (5) Prizes: Five (5) Amazon.ca Gift Cards, each valued at Twenty-Five Canadian Dollars (CAD $25.00).

Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of all prizes: CAD $125.00

Prize is non-transferable and no substitution or cash equivalent will be provided, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Gift card is subject to Amazon's terms and conditions.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

Five (5) winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will be conducted within thirty (30) days after the Entry Period ends.

Potential winners will be notified by email at the address provided during registration. Each potential winner must respond within seven (7) days of notification to claim their prize. If a potential winner does not respond within this period, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.

Prizes will be delivered electronically to winners' verified email addresses within fourteen (14) days of winner confirmation.

7. Odds of Winning

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. If 100 eligible newsletter subscribers enter, the odds of winning are 5 in 100 (1 in 20).

8. General Conditions

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.

By accepting a prize, winner agrees to release Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Sweepstakes or the prize.

9. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy available at trycassia.com/privacy. Personal information will be used for the purpose of administering this Sweepstakes and as otherwise described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from this Sweepstakes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

11. Winner List

To obtain the names of the winners (available after winner confirmation), send an email request to support@trycassia.com with the subject line “Founding User Sweepstakes Winners”. Requests must be received within sixty (60) days after the end of the Entry Period.
