- Location Information: Your current neighbourhood (intersection only, not exact address) and work/school location for commute calculations
- Interaction Data: Listings you save, dismiss, or mark as applied to
How We Use Your Information
- Matching: To score rental listings against your preferences and identify your best matches
- Communications: To send you daily digest emails with your top matches
- Commute Calculations: To estimate transit times from listings to your work/school location
- Service Improvement: To understand how users interact with Cassia and improve our matching algorithms
Information We Do Not Collect
- Your exact home address (we only ask for a nearby intersection)
- Payment information (Cassia is free to use)
- Government ID or sensitive personal documents
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database provider with enterprise-grade security. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to your personal information is restricted to authorized personnel only.

- Postmark: Email delivery for daily digests
- Google Maps: Address autocomplete and commute time estimates
- Mapbox: Map displays in the dashboard
